Easy Cold Brew Coffee

I like this stuff better than hot coffee lol. It keeps in the fridge for up to a month!

Ingredients
  • coffee grounds of your choice

  • water

  • a container (or two)

  • coffee filter

Instructions

1. Combine coffee grounds and water in the container using a 1:4 ratio. (Ex. 1/4 cup coffee grounds to 1 cup water, 1 cup coffee grounds to 4 cups water, etc.)

2. Place the container in the fridge overnight, anywhere from 12-24 hours. The longer it steeps, the stronger the cold brew!

3. The next day, slowly pour the cold brew mixture through a coffee filter into another container. (It helps to use a funnel; I use the part of my coffee maker where I would normally put the coffee filter because I don't have a funnel lol. You just have to separate the grounds from the coffee.)

4. Place the strained cold brew back into the fridge until you're ready to serve.

To serve: Mix cold brew with an equal amount of water. Serve with milk, sugar, or drink as is :)

Note: You can save the grounds and reuse them for another batch. I keep mine in the freezer so they don't mold.
