this is a really incredible dress up game created by orientalld and the-terminal-show on tumblr. you'll need a flash emulator to play it (i use the ruffle chrome extension), but it's totally worth it! link is here.

    favorite episode(s)

    naka-choko

i mean, classic. i got sooo psyched the first time i watched this one; i fully fell for will's little schemes. just that initial feeling of shock and excitement at seeing randall tier laid out on the table with will's bloody knuckles, then starting this episode with hannibal lovingly cleaning/wrapping will's hands, hands that killed someone while will fantasized about killing him. and the flirting over his mutilated corpse? absolutely epic. plus, them jointly cooking and eating "freddie" was, just so gay. i don't have a lot of coherent thoughts on this episode, other than i loved will's "evil"/manipulation arc throughout season 2b and this episode was the peak of that for me.

    buffet froid

oh georgia madchen u deserved the world. this episode freaked me out when i first watched it (sitting on my bed in the dark). the horror of "there might be something in this darkness but u will not know what it is or if it wants to hurt u" gets me a lot--apparently i fear the unknown! this is also why skinamarink affected me the way it did lol. i also resonated with the separate horror of losing ur sense of self, like will's loss of time and georgia not knowing that she is alive. it's hard sometimes, to remember that everything i'm experiencing is real. i loved the end of the episode where will reaches out to georgia. i love when characters extend their kindness to what is considered monstrous; it gives me hope for how we treat each other. overall great episode :D

    favorite murder

based on aesthetics alone, i LOVE the angel murders in coquilles. this is the first moment i had watching this show where i went "oh, gore can be really beautiful" and hannibal proved that over and over again. they also remind me of painting 1946 by francis bacon, one of my favorite paintings. just an absolutely gorgeous concept executed in the most horrific way.
